This hunting lease is located in WMU (7P) and is close to Greene, New York. This lease consists of 29 acres of woods and 26 acres of pasture and crops. The property slopes downhill from the blacktop to the woods. There is an old logging trail that could easily be cleaned up on the west side of property. There was good deer sign in the SE corner where there was good undergrowth in the woods. There are a few scattered apple trees around the field edges along with some oak. Turkeys are present everyday in the cow pasture. There was at least one stand that I saw. Use at your own risk. The west woods has a lot of hemlock. There is a small clearing on the west border just off the logging road that was full of deer beds. Property should provide excellent turkey and deer opportunities. You can post the property. ATV use is allowed on edge of fields and logging trail. Close any gates you open to cow pasture. The cows will be out of pasture sometime in October. ATV use and camping are allowed for hunting purposes only. Get with the landowner for parking of a camper. Camper only allowed for hunting seasons ( deer and turkey).
